From the very first day Charlie was on site to oversee all aspects of the build. He kept us informed of timelines and budget during the build, shared his skills and expertise when bringing suggestions to our attention allowing us time to make an informed decision and also offered lots of advice throughout the whole process.

Charlie undertook two major jobs for me a barn conversion and a sunroom extension. He undertook both jobs with professionalism and great skill.
The Barn conversion was a very old stone agricultural building and he transformed with skill and sensitivity keeping the traditional feel of the place and turned it into into a very comfortable living space with all services. The sunroom was an extension to an old farm house and I was concerned that it might change the look of the original house but under Charlie’s guidance it has only enhanced the building and in no way detracts from the original house.
I have no hesitation in recommending Charlie and his team all of whom have been a pleasure to work with.

We contracted our house build to Foley Construction Ltd in March 2017. From the start of the tendering process to when we moved in (and beyond), Charlie and his team have been brilliant to deal with. Neither Áine nor I would be too familiar with the construction industry. However, Charlie talked us through each part of the process and gave invaluable advice at every juncture. Hardly a day went by when we didn’t communicate with him in some way. He always walked us through each decision and outlined the various options, taking any concerns we had seriously, no matter how small.
Throughout the entire build Charlie showed huge patience with us and there were never any problems with making small changes or modifications on the go. Since we have moved in, we have received many compliments on the high quality finish of the house and that is all down to Charlie and his team of sub-contractors. There was huge attention to detail and care given to each stage of the build, which was done on time and on the budget agreed at the outset. Even since we have moved in, Charlie has kept in contact with us to ensure we are happy with everything and that there are no issues. He definitely went above and beyond for us and we would highly recommend Foley Construction to anyone who is thinking of building their own home.
